Xbox 360 color problem, everything is in black and white?

I know it's the console it's self, because when ever I would switch television settings (by that I mean switch from the reciever, to the console) the reciever is in complete color. I only get black and white when I'm playing on my 360. everything is black and white.
or to be more accurate, grey.

the TV I have is a Sanyo, which is new, and it is a flat screen, multi system, CATV hyper band. I really can't give too much information about the television than that. I know it's not the cause of the greyness though, cause I had color when I first played my 360 on it.

I made sure everything was plugged in right, and tight enough. and everything is, but it's still grey. going through the televisions color settings doesn't seem to work, obviously.

I'm sorry if this is not enough information but it's all I got.
